5 pieces of Ceylon cinnamon sticks, 10cm long, in a resealable aroma bag.10cm long Ceylon cinnamon sticks (canehl) from Sri Lanka.
Freshly ground, cinnamon sticks have a more intense aroma than cinnamon powder.
The aroma is sweet and delicately tart with a hint of cloves and allspice.
For refining desserts, pastries, apple pie and ice cream.
Cinnamon also goes well with savoury dishes in combination with dried fruit, e.g. in Arabic cuisine.
Whole cinnamon sticks can be used in sauces, stews, braised dishes, red cabbage and Asian curries and give the dishes a wonderfully dark aroma.

Store in a cool, dry place, always close the aroma bag tightly and store in a dark spice cupboard.
