This rounded blend of spices adds a world of flavour in just a simple shake of the bottle. Our mixed spice powder is an expertly blended combination of cinnamon, coriander, caraway, nutmeg and cloves. Combing these spices produces a beautifully balanced seasoning – the earthy ground coriander and spicy cloves contrast the sweet notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. As well as enhancing tropical curries and comforting fruit crumbles, mixed spice plays a major role in seasonal occasions. Bake it into fresh hot cross buns at Easter or use it in your Christmas cooking, from the Christmas pudding itself to Italian biscotti.
Sprinkling ground mixed spice into apple pies, fruit crumbles and stewed fruit to give extra flavour. Also great in fruit cakes and biscuits.
